We are thrilled to share some exciting news: Amanda Williamson is joining GSJones Law Group, P.S. as a partner! This action merges Williamson Law Group PLLC, her innovative Family Law-focused law firm, with our firm’s quarter century as a powerhouse in Family Law in Kitsap and surrounding counties, strengthening our ability to serve our clients.

Deepening our service to the community

Amanda brings nearly 20 years of experience as a family law attorney and Title 26 Guardian ad Litem. Known for her sharp legal insight, deep compassion, and unwavering commitment to children and families, Amanda is a respected voice in the legal community, both in and out of the courtroom. She serves as a Pro Tem Commissioner in King and Thurston County Superior Courts. She has developed vital statewide legal training for the Minor Guardianship GAL and Court Visitor Program.

Amanda's prolific work in the community is a welcome addition to GSJones Law Group's history of community involvement.. Her leadership extends beyond the courtroom: She currently serves as the president of the Kitsap Legal Aid Services board and serves on both the WSBA Court Rules and Procedures Committee and the Kitsap County Commission on Children and Youth.

Inclusive and deep preparation for Family Law

Amanda graduated cum laude from the University of Richmond’s T.C. Williams School of Law and holds over 100 hours of civil and family mediation training. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science from Gonzaga University. In 2018, Amanda earned a second Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Family Studies from the University of Washington School of Education. Her interest in Family Law is anchored in a strong concern for the well-being of children. Prior to becoming an attorney, she worked directly with families as a case aide and visitation supervisor for Washington State’s DCYF.
