For 28 years, Robert Garrison has represented people in civil litigation. He recently went to semi-retired status and is not accepting new clients. He served families with family law, divorce, child custody, wills and estate planning. In addition, he supports individuals and businesses with financial issues, such as consumer law, personal injury, contract, and bankruptcy law. His experience has ranged from simple consultations and advice to major litigation involving outcomes measured in millions.

Robert Garrison loves replacing insurmountable problems with straightforward solutions

He says of his practice: “What I like best about my practice is what I like about life – mainly people. We are all on this globe together. All of us have things we can offer. Sometimes what we have to offer is particular knowledge derived from training and experience that can be helpful to others. I enjoy consulting with clients about legal/practical problems, identifying possible solutions to those problems, and helping them understand those options, especially when we find straightforward solutions to problems they thought were insurmountable.”

Strong backgrounds in litigation and public education make for an outstanding education lawyer

Admitted to the bar 40 years ago, he pursued a second career as an educator midcareer. Bob puts what he learned in his 12 years as a principal and school administrator to work for families struggling with school systems. His practical knowledge often helps families cut through red tape for results that restore students to the best educational path possible.

Bob serves as a volunteer with Kitsap Legal Services. He is very devoted to his large extended family and enjoys, music, fishing, reading, writing and travel.
